~1:00AM – Kim and I were texting before bed. Sue had another EKG, which was normal, but she was fussing so Kim had to check on her and we had to stop texting. They were waiting on a chest x-ray as well.
~10:30AM – The rest of us (support staff – Chad, Cyndie, Wade) arrived and caught up with Kim.
~11:00AM – H arrived to visit with Sue and update us.
~12:30 – They put an NG (nasogastric) tube in her nose down to her stomach that will be used to feed her since her swallowing was not good enough to allow for mouth feeding. However, she had to wait for an x-ray to make sure that it was in her stomach before they could use it.
~3:30PM – The x-ray was completed and Sue finally got some food through the tube. It was a welcome relief and finally Sue felt full. She napped off and on for the rest of the afternoon.
~3:30PM – I took Kim home for a shower and took Sam home early
~9:00PM – We left for the night. Kim stayed with Sue again.
